Invite Us!

Our work is a form of activism for science communication, scientific integrity and openness. We will continue running this sciencewatchdog.id site even if it generates no income or costs money.

Our website here is not a business. Your support of any kind is most welcome, especially after what has happened. However, we do have an official position as a lecturer and researcher. As such, I offer:

  • Seminar/workshop presentations for graduate schools and research institutions
  • Research methodology (quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods) for universities/research centres, policy makers, and researchers.
  • Public engagement on science, Science communication, academic writing, popularizing science in the media, and social media.

We are happy to speak to classes, departments, groups, and conferences on issues related to research misconduct investigations, science communication, research methods, and open science.

If you are interested in receiving an invitation, here are some considerations:
As our work requires resources, and our principals remain volunteers for whom the allocation of speaking opportunities involves time away from regular work, we prioritise speaking engagements that can provide an honorarium or other payment. We are happy to talk to more than one group in a given location so that they can pool their resources. Webinars (online seminars) work for us! We can offer a limited number of free speaking engagements and give priority to small non-profit organisations that share our mission.
